Since Jacob Lawren Ltd. also provides services in Haulage and Construction, we fully understand the need to decarbonise the industrial sector in West Africa and the challenges that come with it.
In our search for like-minded organisations, we became a pioneer member of the African Hydrogen Partnership (AHP) in 2021.
The African Hydrogen Partnership (AHP) is the only continent-wide African umbrella association solely dedicated to the development of green and natural hydrogen, hydrogen-based chemicals, fuel cell technology, and related business opportunities in Africa.
In May 2022, we participated at the World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam and provided insights of the sector as speakers. There we met a vast number of organisations with whom we are now exploring both Hydrogen generation and Hydrogen off-take opportunities in West Africa.
We believe Africa has two roles to play. As a producer/exporter of hydrogen to Europe, USA, and Asia, but also as an off-taker to decarbonise its industry and transport sector.
We want everyone in Africa to benefit from this energy transition, be it employment, be it a clean environment, or affordable fertilizers.
